my life

Hey everyone,

So once again, I haven’t written in my live journal in like a year…but damn a lot has happened!  Well…in the summer of 06 I did orgo chem. (I hate that subject…no matter how many times I have to do it).  Then I went back to school to do a couple of more courses.  The significant things that happed was that I went to India on Feb. 16th, 2007 for the first time in my life (actually flying anywhere for the first time in my life)!  That well be a c completely different entry since most of what I wrote on paper is at home on my desk waiting to be typed.  The most exciting thing is that at the moment I’m on the island of St. Lucia in the Caribbean and I will be starting medical school here!  HA! My dreams are finally coming true!!!  I arrived on the island late in the night on May 2nd.  Yesterday was an eventful day!!  I got to see my school; I set up a bank account and went looking for an apartment!  That was where I ran into some trouble!  At first, I saw this apartment (twice) and the landlady was asking 750 E.C. which is about 350 Canadian.  We even moved our stuff in and just came back from town to give the rest of the first and last months rent in cash when the landlady said that the apartment was 800E.C.  We were all in disbelief that this woman would go back on her word so easily!!  My dad was so vexed... we just ended up coming back to the hotel that we stayed in the first night.  For us, it was not a matter of money…it was a matter of honesty and a matter of keeping your word!  After coming back to the hotel and a good night sleep, during breakfast, our server mentioned that there were apartments at the hotel and that for a little more money I could rent that out!  SO, as of this evening I’ll be living at the Kitamari Apartments and the major plus is that it is a 10 minute walk from school.  Other wise I would have to get or share a car to get around and that adds to the already big bill!  Oh well…I have to go now and get to the rest of the day!!  I’ll post more often!!

Konbonwa Minna,

well...I haven't written in my LJ for the longest time....no surprise there....I’m just really bad at updating my stuff. well....life up to date...it's going no where and I have no idea what the heck I want to do for the future...my best friend is in Jamaica and I must think of a career soon or I'm being shipped to India to get married...whether I like it or not! That so does not sound fun! Other than that...I’ve been happily bust with the shit load of extracurricular that I do and creating mass chaos at work!! My brain is frazzled at the moment from writing one test and now studying for another...so I will exit to the left and pop by at some later time! Happy reading week everyone....I know that I will be definitely reading for that week (stupid midterms...we just never get a break)! Peace.

WOW!! What a day!! The craziness that ensued!! Well to start off, I had to finish my essay that was due today!! Man I hate essays! Then I jumped a bus to watch Harry potter and the goblet of fire! The movie was great and all I kept thinking about was fanfiction!! Then I found out that my volunteering event that was going to happen at 4:30pm got cancelled!! Oh no!!!!!!!! So I eventually tried to catch a bus back to Hamilton, only to freeze my ass off for over an hour before the bus came...stupid bus. Then I high-tailed it home. I'm still de-thawing and just plain tired!! Wow...and the weekend looks even better. I work from 11:35am to close tomm so that will hurt. Also, I have a concert on Sunday....yeah!! There is no rest for the weary. Well...time to pick up my boots and study for my upcoming test! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.......later!

Hey everyone,

yes...yes...i know that I have been missing forever from my livejournal and I can't say anything to make up for that. It's just been a very busy year and summer and lowe and behold a new school year is about to begin...scary!!! you guys can beat me or hunt me down in any way you wish to extract revenge...just remember that I hit back. LMAO. well, for the begining of the summer, i was studying for organic chemistry (eeewwww...i severely dislike this subject). thus i was thrown into the MCAT prep classes that I enrolled in.
So, to put it nicely, I really had no summer and thus I can't believe that I'm back at another year of school. aaahhhhhh. The fun thing was that I got a part time job at the cineplex ( the same one Jojo works at). That was fun for the time and rucus we had together...that and playing DDR like mad ( i still can't believe that Adam has a recording of us playing DDR Onna?!?!?).
Right now...i'm at Arti's place just chillin' and loving having internet connection (which we don't have until next friday..damn cogeco..ggrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!). We pulled off some next missions for going to Nisha's sisters' wedding this weekend. Man..it was tough and tight, BUT we managed to pull it off. thus why I'm at Arti's house (part of the cover..otherwise I'd be at sangat :P)
classes are still a mess..a new school year is about to begin and I have no underpants!!! (LOL just kidding). Well, I'm offf to learn a new card game with arti's parents...hehehe.....I'll be talking to everyone soon...as soon as I have some internet!!

That's all for now!! night night!!

the story of my life...

Ohayo Mina-san

I'm back after a prolonged period to my LJ...Yay!! Well, a lot has happened since the Christmas so I have a lot of catching up to do. Well, my Christmas break was ok...it was just too short. Just did the normal stuff, cleaning the house and trying to help out at home and just trying to chill. Then my friends and I had a get together over the break. We had a Christmas party at my best friends' house!! The funny thing is that this was my first "official" time being to her house...I’m already banned from her house by my parents...hehehe!! Oh well, shit happens so what can we do (give me a hug Jojo). My parents are just a little on the strict side...always has and always will be!! Hey, it sucks being female and Indian!! Then I came back to school just a day after new years (man...my school is just too eager!! They are also evil incarnate...grrrr stupid school). Thus school began and my life became busy once again. The first week was ok. On the first Thurs. of January, my friends and I went to a night club in Hamilton called Seventy-seven. THAT was a night to remember. First of all, we got there at around 10:30pm and we waited over 2 hours just to get in!!! We all froze our asses off since it was a really cold night. The reason for the delay was due to tight security and people just being prick-asses. It takes a lot for me to lose my temper but that night I was VERY close to kicking someone's ass. On top of being frozen, we had a couple of assholes that were drunk behind us. They were harassing my friends and me for a good half an hour and I spent most of that time trying to protect my friends since I was the main barrier between them and the drunken assholes behind me. Luckily, they left after a while and we continued to freeze our ass off. When we FINALLY got in it was around 1am and the club was going to close soon. However that did not deteriorate our drive to spend together and dance the night a way…well what was left of it. The rest of the night was ok thus an interesting night. Then we just got into the swing of school (boo). Then a couple of weeks later, we went again to another club, this time to Funky monkey. This was really good since we didn't have to wait or anything. We went since it was one of our friends' birthday, we all had drinks and danced the night away. It was also good since it was an Indian jam!! IT was so fun that day. Then one of the weekends in January, I went up to Oshawa to see my best friend. That was an amazing weekend of fun!! I went up on the Friday and that night, we went to a jam that the students we holding. IT was really good and I got to meet all of Jojo's friends and I got to relax and jam it up with them. Then we went back to one of our friend’s room and started the drinking. hehe...we learned the hard way that drinking a lot of shots in under half an hour with no food in you is NOT a good idea. But, damn was it fun. I remember being yelled at, various conversations and silliness between me and Jojo. I'd do it again in a heart beat: P. The next day, after much sleeping and lazing about, we played DDR for about 6 hours. That was really fun. While this was going on, there was a snow storm happen outside so when we went to gather people to play, we had to go to the other rez, which was a little of a walk away!! Being frozen and covered in snow was interesting...hehe. On our last day together, we just chilled out. I must have bugged my friend to death about me trying to cover my tracks back here in Hamilton (I was afraid that my parents would call and they would find out that I wasn't there since I was not suppose to be in Oshawa in the first place!!). I also, probably drove her crazy about me trying to get back to Hamilton Monday morning...hehehe...gomen!! After that fiasco, I tried to focus on school (it didn't really work very well) while I was trying to avoid my family. That following Tuesday was a mission as I had an essay due and everything was really last minute. hehe.. that was a realty close call...I just hope it made sense since I had to shove a lot of last minute crap to put in my essay. After that death scare, school just became crazier and now the midterms have hit. So when shit hit the fan...so did my marks!! Well, I’m still in that whole midterm phase and I just can't wait until it's over. Then this past tues, I went home since I couldn't stand being in Hamilton anymore. It was well needed, as I got to see my family, worked out some problems that has been over my head the last month and cleared the air before my whole family goes to India!! No fair…my whole family is going to India without me!! Stupid school...always gets in the way! I couldn't go since I had labs and mandatory tutorials that I really can't get out of and my prick-ass of a university would not even consider helping me out. Well I hope they have a good time there!! I can’t wait until reading week when even more craziness will ensue. Man the world is lucky that Jojo and I didn’t go the same post secondary school. Otherwise that poor school would be pulling out their hair in trying to deal with us...I love it!! Well, now I’m off to sleep and study for the next test!! Man life really sucks!! Until the next crazy adventure!!
